I have been in the process of a major database cleanup for over two years, and the initial phase is almost complete. Over the next month the website should be getting a major software version overhaul and the database reloaded with thousands of updates. The update is far from 100% correct. There are still many bad relationships and duplicates, but it will be a major step forward.Several years ago we received a Gedcom file from a source that has since proven to be highly untrustworthy. The file contained thousands of duplicates and unsourced records. By the time I realized the extent of the mess I was too far into making corrections to back out. While the record did provide some useful information, the volume of errors and effort required to clean it up negated much of the value.
As always, you may use the records on this site as a starting point for you family research, but review the sources. Anything with no source should be deemed questionable. If you have updates you would like to provide, please provide sources.
