  [Br?derbund WFT Vol. 2, Ed. 1, Tree #4512, Date of Import: Nov 12, 2000] As a young man, Albert moved to Duluth to work with his brother, Camille in business. They sold shoes and other supplies. In Duluth, he married Margaret Loretta Sutton, they had five children, two died. Sometime near the beginning of 1895, he left his family and moved west. His son, Elmer is thought to have visited him. The 1912 Duluth city directory lists: Poirier Alb, b 201 W 5th. (Same address as for Elmer) After his grandson, Robert was married, his wife, Katherine moved to live with his son in Portland. Marie (his granddaughter) stated, in an interview with Robert James Poirier, that her father (Albert J.) went to visit his dad when he lived in Portland.
