      He was raised by his grandmother, Loretta, along with this brother & sister.
      He spent several years in a Catholic boarding school in San Francisco.
      When he left school, he went to live with his father in Los Angeles.
      He joined the Army Air Force during WWII. His training took place in Miss.
      where he met Katherine. After they were married, he was transferred to England,
      where he served with the Royal Air Force. He was an aircraft mechanic.
      The English weather proved too damp for him. The damp made his asthma worse, he
      was discharged from the army on a medical discharge. After the war, he and
      Katherine moved to Hemet to live with an old friend. He worked as a farmer, a
      diesel locomotive mechanic for Santa Fe Railroad. He later worked for the USMC
      Logistics Supply Depot in Dagget. He worked in small arms repair, motor pool
      repair and toward the end of his career, he was an inspector at Yermo.
      He was a heavy smoker and used developed emphasema at the age of about 60.
      He died of asphixiaton at home.
