Notes - [Br?derbund WFT Vol. 2, Ed. 1, Tree #4512, Date of Import: Nov 12, 2000]
George left Kentucky in 1830 to come to Monroe county and later exhibit
Easter Cloud as the first Missouri winner of the $10,000 World's Grand
Champion Stallion award at the Kentucky State Fair.
The tradition he started was carried on by his son Hiram, who moved to a farm
south of Lakenan, MO, where his grandson and greatgrandsons still raise and
show prize winning horses. The farm is now known as Broadacres. See Wel
Greenwell.
His death records are from "Greenwell-Little-Donnally-Hardy" by A. Loui
Shelton
