Daniel worked on a road job. He developed a sore on his leg and blood poisoning
set in. The Doctor wanted to amputate his leg but Daniel wouldn't hear of it.
He died from the blood poisoning.
After they were married, the family moved to Trysil Norway and bought a form
named "Basterget". The farms were named after the family who built them. This
one was built by Halsten Person Bast. The name of the farms carry down,
regardless of how many times the farm changes hands. Bastberget is pronounced
      "bastberia" in English.
