  [Br?derbund WFT Vol. 2, Ed. 1, Tree #4512, Date of Import: Nov 12, 2000] Minde Married Nils Jansson Nylund in Norway. Minde's brother Carl came with them. Nils moved to America ahead of the family, and in the spring of 1903, Minde came over with her three girls. Nils was working on the railroad in Tower, MN. At that time, it was called Bear Head. Minde washed clothes for the train men. They lived in Tower over the winter and moved to the farm outside of Orr in the spring of 1904, which they had homesteaded. Nils changed his name to Johnson. Minde died of cancer at age 47.
