  [Br?derbund WFT Vol. 2, Ed. 1, Tree #1358, Date of Import: Nov 12, 2000] His was a prisoner at Fort Beausejour during the last French and Indian War. After that he moved to the St. John river where Crock's Point near Fredericton, New Brunswick is named after him. He died in 1785 as the family anticipated the move to Madawaska. His nine sons moved to Madawaska where they built a new life for themselves. This family escaped to Kamouraska, Quebec in 1761 then returned to Fredericton in 1769 where they stayed until 1785 when he died and his nine sons migrated to the Madawaska region.
