    Was married 14 years to Marie Daigle had no children, adopted 1 Girl, Maggie Violette. Then had Marie Ann and Louis.
    Marie died in 1928, was diabetic had shock and became sick, was sent to Bangor Mental Hospital.
    She was known to be a very strong woman and hard worker on the farm.
    In the course of her treatment she was combative and was over sedated and died.
    Remie remarried at 50 in 1929 to Alexina Parent, she was 32.

    Was borned in St.David near Madawaska, Me the youngest of nine children of Romain and Marie Cyr. Romain was the second of ten children of Firmin and Madelaine Violette. Firmin was the fifth of nine children of Francoise and Marie Anne Guildeau who along with his eight brothers, son's of Jean Baptiste II where the first Cyrs to settled the St.John valley around Madawaska, Me in 1785 to 1790. Paul married Adelina Violette in Van Buren, Me where they settled on a farm four miles south east of the town in Hamlin, that he bought from his cousin Michel Cyr. He died in Van Buren at the age of 84.
